OUR FEES

1.      CONSULTATIONS - HOURLY RATE

Our consultancy fees differ depending on the complexity of the matter, including the level of experience and knowledge required. We also consider the risk associated with a project and the value of the transaction and/or property.   

In this regard, we charge for the time spent working on each project and we will provide time sheets. Time spent on a project includes but is not limited to:

    • Making and receiving phone calls
    • Attending meetings
    • Draughting layouts and plans
    • Drafting letters and other documents
    • Consultations with the relevant authorities
    • Communication by electronics means e.g. WhatsApp & SMS
    • Sending and receiving emails
    • Travel Expenses

2.      FLAT UPFRONT FEE

In line with the tariffs guiding the work we do, certain services are charged at a flat rate upfront, regardless of the time spent. This includes but is not limited to Cadastral Surveys, Sectional Title Surveys and Town Planning Applications.  

3.      RETAINER

For medium-to-large scale projects, we offer retainer agreements as an alternative fee agreement in terms of which pre-determined services will be rendered over a period at an agreed rate. Key elements typically involved in our retained-based agreement include:

·         Upfront Payment: A fixed fee paid at the beginning of the agreement or in monthly installments.

·         Ongoing Services: We will provide consistent and continuous services over a period.

·         Dedicated Attention: We will dedicate more attention and resources to a project. By entering into a retainer-based arrangement, you pay an agreed amount once-off or in instalments every month, and we will make ourselves available to you for a certain number of hours each month.
